RacingNation
Haydock 16:10 Poet's Magic Three wins in productive 2021 and back to best from good draw when adding to her tally over 7f at Chester last month. Not in the same form having a rare start over 6f there last Saturday and she's fancied to get back on track here. Nottingham 15:10 Able Kane Seven wins from 26 Flat runs. 9/2, career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Ffos Las (7.4f, good) 10 days ago, suited by test of speed and well on top finish. Carries penalty. Merits consideration. 16:20 Larado Looked back to his best when collared only late in the piece at Salisbury 3 weeks ago. Turned out quickly given he was 4 lb well in but was unable to dominate at Epsom since so the percentage call is to look elsewhere racing from his revised mark. Killarney 16:35 Espion Du Chenet C&D winner. Three wins from 12 runs last season. Latest win in chase at Punchestown in May. Third of 4 in minor event chase at Listowel (19f, soft, 8/1) 39 days ago. Career-high mark to overcome back in handicap. Newmarket 20:10 Al Simmo Took another step forward when winning a small-field event over C&D 3 weeks ago, making all by 1¼ lengths from the reopposing Origintrail. Likely to remain very competitive up 3 lb. Hamilton 18:47 Silky Wilkie Career best when recording a second career win at Haydock in June and has found only one too good both outings since, beaten only by an improver at Newcastle last time. Can go well again. Pontefract 20:54 Ghathanfar In the the form of his life at present, scoring over C&D last month before making light of a rise in the weights back down at 5f at York in first-time cheekpieces (off now) last Friday. 5 lb penalty unlikely to prevent him making another bold bid.
